Besides the OWL website, another good source of the ever-evolving citation guide is Diana Hacker's website. As an editor of MLA handbooks, she's a good authority. Also, I find this website as useful because she has a great drop down list that will take you directly to different kinds of sources (as we shall demonstrate in class today).
Note: part of a citation of on-line periodicals is to include the "Publishing Company." This can often be found at the bottom of the website's page. Scroll down all the way down to the bottom and look at who owns the copyright for the material! (For example, at the bottom of www.theatlantic.com is "The Atlantic Group.")
